Two of the most-booked beauty services among visitors sit at opposite ends of the commitment scale, and they get treated as if they were the same kind of decision.
Lash perm (속눈썹 펌) takes 40–60 minutes, costs a fraction of what it does in most Western cities, and lasts until the lash cycle turns over — six to eight weeks. Low stakes. If you dislike it, it grows out.
Semi-permanent brow tattoo (눈썹 문신) is a different proposition. It is a two-session service — the retouch usually falls four to six weeks after the first, which is longer than most trips — and the shape stays with you for one to two years. Getting the first session abroad and skipping the retouch is a common and avoidable mistake.
If your trip is short and you want one of the two, the lash perm is the one that fits.
